Cultivating earth and community since 1973. It’s what we do best.
We like to say that we’re all about promoting “joyous commerce.” We think that means that we make it fun to shop again. Fun to reconnect with your community members. And fun to relax and take in the sites of one of the country’s best farmers markets.
The Ithaca Farmers Market is an owner–operated cooperative market with over 160 members, who grow or produce their wares within 30 miles of the pavilion. You’ll find a full spread at the market with something for everyone — hot prepared foods for those just stopping by, a full spread of vegetables, fruit, pastured meat, bakeries to feed our community, and exceptionally crafted artisan gifts for your loved ones.
On Saturdays and Sundays from April until December, we are located in a beautiful park on the Cayuga Lake waterfront at the historic Steamboat Landing, selling local products from an award-winning covered pavilion. We also operate three other markets within the City of Ithaca to better serve our neighborhoods. In addition, from January through March our winter market operates out of The Space, Greenstar’s event space.
We are your year-round destination for local.
We are always accepting applications for new vendors — to apply for the 2014 season to sell at the Tuesday at Dewitt Park) Wednesday evening (at East Hill Plaza) and Thursday evening (at Dewitt Park) markets. Please go to the “Becoming a Vendor Page” to fill out the appropriate applications.
