ITHACA BOAT TOURS offers Cayuga Lake tours throughout the weekend from the Farmers Market, and daily from our home dock at 435 Old Taughannock Blvd. We provide visitors with a glimpse into the human and natural history of the Finger Lakes, and educate for a sustainable future in our beautiful Finger Lakes region. Along with informative narrations, our two-hour cruise often include brief lake study demonstrations. Our sustainability efforts also include using bio-diesel fuel made from a mixture of diesel and plant oils.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON ECO-CRUISES (2 hours) feature topical narrations and insights on the state of the Finger Lakes. Our Floating Classroom crew also leads optional lake study and art activities sure to engage all ages. Special guests and weekly themes are detailed at www.floatingclassroom.net, or visit us on Facebook.

Proceeds help the Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom provide science, math & technology programs for area schools and youth groups. Sliding scale “Community Access” coupons available for Watershed residents – check our website!

pnet2EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT. Ithaca Boat Tours and the Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom work closely with schools and community organizations to provide affordable, hands-on education opportunities. The MV Haendel is intended to be a platform from which groups or individuals can access Cayuga Lake, either by chartering our services, or by launch their own projects.
