What’s New This Week – 9/26/09

Bloomer Creek Vineyard - Debra has just released two delicious new wines; Riesling '08 and Cabernet ;07.  Riesling '08 is crisp with hints of apricot that seem almost effervesant.  At 1% residual sugar, this Riesling is full without being sweet - perfect fore food pairings.  Cabernet '07 is a rich blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, from the vintage of '07 Fingerlakes growing season.  This dry red wine is handcrafted to reveal notes of smokey red raspberry with just enough oak for a well balanced structure.  Riesling '08: $16.00/btl.
